Pleated Tila DIY Beaded Bracelet Tutorial

watch the video

Welcome!

Hey beautiful! Today I am back with a new beaded bracelet tutorial, which incorporates Miyuki Tila, Half Tila, and 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads. I have decided to call this pattern the Pleated Tila bracelet since the center canal of beads become gathered together and form the look of pleating or ruched fabric. Please see below for the full list of materials and links to these specific products.

More About the Pleated Tila Bracelet:

I love the contrast in the orange and bronze bracelet, especially. The embellishments on top of the bright Tila base just pop against the striking backdrop. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with those blaze orange Tila beads when they first popped up in the Pumpkin Festival Eureka Crystal Beads Monthly Collection, but I am so pleased with the pop of color they added to this design.

Be adventurous with bright pops of color, and even try using two different colors of half Tila beads, like you see in the turquoise example. Color can have such a drastic impact on the look of a design. I bet it would also look awesome in a contrasting black and white, or an all metallic gold and silver!
