Some Beebeecraft Product Highlights:
Sturdy Craft Fabric for Embroidery, etc.
I am thinking of trying to use the non-woven craft fabric as the basis for some bead embroidery! The texture seems perfect – holds it shape well, will let a needle pass through easily, and the edges do not fray. I am a total bead embroidery NOOB, so we’ll see how it goes!
Another benefit to this material is that the price is excellent, compared to some other bead embroidery foundation products. These 10-packs of 112×12 sheets are only between $6-$8, and should be enough to make tons of projects (and mistakes, while I learn)!
Colorful Cord and Ribbon Necklaces
I am surprised by how inexpensive these waxed cord and ribbon bracelet variety packs are! There are 100 pieces in each pack, whether you want the single 1.5mm waxed cord, or the 3 slimmer waxed cords with 6mm organza ribbon. In additional to the multi-color variety packs, Beebeecraft also carries these bulk necklace packs in black. The fact that they come already assembled with a lobster clasp and extender chain make these wonderful contenders for simply stringing on beaded pendants and charms.
Imitation Swarovski Crystal Stones
50 pieces of 14x10mm Crystal Teardrop imitation Austrian crystal stones, with AB coating, for less than $10? Yes, please! Another great value for jewelry making supplies. Perhaps I will incorporate some in a new bead embroidery project; along with the fabric craft sheets as a base.
I have been hearing rumblings that the Swarovski bead and stone business may be going away in the coming months, but I don’t have definitive information, or details. If that is the case, it will be nice if we see the Chinese crystal stones improving in quality and availability. The cost is certainly a lot easier to swallow, but if Swarovski is really doing away with that segment of the business, it will be felt by many beaders.
Most of my pieces are inspired by the mystery contents of monthly bead boxes. Curious which bead box is the best (for you)? Check out this video for more info!
Beebeecraft provided these products to me at no monetary cost in order to facilitate this review video. The thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% my own.
