Sunken Treasure 12mm Cushion Crystal and Bugle Bead Necklace Tutorial

Hey everyone! In today’s video we will take a “deep dive” (see what I did there?) into the latest BeadingSchool Academy subscription box with the Thetis’s Treasure theme, and create a sparkly pendant necklace with the contents! First, we will frame and bezel a 12mm Preciosa Cushion Cut Crystal Stone with Twisted Bugle Beads, and more. Then, I’ll show you how to create some simple beaded beads that will be used to form the necklace chain, and we will string everything together. Please see below for the full list of materials:

Materials List (18" Necklace):

✔ 1 – 12mm Cushion Cut Crystal – Dk. Indigo 

✔ 4 – Miyuki Half Tila Beads – Crystal Full Labrador

✔ 22 – 2mm Fire Polish Beads – Labrador Full 

✔ 4g – 15/0 Round Seed Beads – Black Labrador Full 

✔ 15g – 12mm Miyuki Twisted Bugle Beads – Matte Met. Turquoise 

✔ 30 – 6mm Czech Bicone Beads 

✔ 2 – 6x10mm Drop Pearls – Lt. Gray 

Beading Thread – 6lb FireLine 

Beading Needle, Size 11 

✔ 22” – Bead Stringing Wire (I used Softflex Medium, 0.19” diameter in Lapis)

✔ 2 – 5mm Jump Rings

✔ 1 – 12mm Lobster Clasp

✔ 2 – 4.5mm Wire Guards 

✔ 6 – 1.5mm Crimp Tubes

✔ 4 – 4mm Crimp Covers

✔ Jewelry Pliers
