I love the handmade Rattan Teardrop Findings. They are very lightweight, and beautifully crafted. You will also receive a roll of Soft Flex bead stringing wire, additional findings, several strands of Czech glass beads, and a custom Jesse James Beads Mix.

As I state in the video, these design kits are especially great for beaders who would like to build their skills with high quality materials, and have the support of a very active group of crafters on Facebook who contribute and share ideas and pictures of beaded jewelry, which has been made from kit contents.

Do I Recommend the Soft Flex Monthly Mystery Design Kit?

YES (for the right person)! This is a wonderful subscription for the new jewelry-maker, or for the social beader, in particular. They have a wonderful, active and friendly community on Facebook with members who share ideas and pictures of designs created from the monthly kit contents. You may be able to do some beadweaving with the contents, but I mainly recommend this kit for jewelry artists who are more into stringing.

Viewing out of stock jewelry pieces also provides a helpful archive of beading inspiration, and a way to see past jewelry creations that have travelled to new homes. Many pieces include materials from past bead subscription boxes that I have unboxed on my YouTube channel.
