Hey beautiful! In today’s tutorial I will show you how to create a sparkly pair of crystal earrings. We will use Miyuki Delica beads to bezel 12mm Krakovski rivoli stones in a quatrefoil design, and add some additional beaded detail to the bottom with tiny faceted rondelle beads and Czech drops.
All materials from this project come from the Hearthside Collection by Eureka Crystal Beads. Please see below for the full list of materials.
Materials List (one pair):
Creating a Beaded Bezel for 12mm Rivolis:
This beaded bezel is unlike any that I have shared previously, for a couple of reasons. First, we will only use one type AND size of bead to create the entire frame, which is not as common. Second, a unique quatrefoil design adorns the front of the crystal stones, as opposed to additional round rings of peyote stitch.
To achieve the quatrefoil bezel, in this instance, I will show you how to taper the sides of the bezel into four “peaks.” The back of the bezel is cinched tightly around the stone by gradually, and uniformly, reducing the number of beads in each ring of peyoe stitch.
