Hey beautiful! In today’s tutorial I will show you a twist on the flat spiral beading stitch, so you can turn it into a beautiful necklace. This design uses graduated sizes of glass pearls and crystal bicones, which make a lovely statement on the front of the neck, and allow for the beads to contour towards the back as they become smaller.
Materials for One 16 Inch Necklace
Tip: Add an extender chain, so this necklace may be adjusted to multiple lengths..
✔ 6 – 10mm Swarovski Pearls (Iridescent Tahitian)
✔ 6 – 8mm Swarovski Pearls (Iridescent Tahitian)
✔ 6 – 6mm Swarovski Pearls (Iridescent Tahitian)
✔ 28 – 4mm Swarovski Pearls (Iridescent Tahitian)
✔ 20 – 6mm Swarovski Bicones (Blue Zircon)
✔ 32 – 4mm Swarovski Bicones (Blue Zircon)
✔ 11/0 Toho Seed Beads (Galvanized Golden Fleece)
✔ 6 – Crimp Tubes 1.5 x1.5mm
✔ 6 – Crimp Covers 3x3mm
✔ 22” SoftFlex Beading Wire – 0.019”/49 strand/Medium
✔ 10ft – 6lb Fireline, or your choice of beading thread
✔ Lobster claw clasp, or clasp of choice
