Hey beautiful! In today’s tutorial I will show you how to make a unique beaded bracelet using the brand new four-hole QuadBow Beads and two-hole PieDuo Beads from Potomac Beads. We will be weaving these two multi-hole shapes with 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads to achieve this lovely braided look. Please see below for the full list of materials. You can find everything you need at Potomac Beads.
This is the blue colorway that I made in the tutorial video. These are the actual color names used in the project:
Quadbow: Metallic Sea Blue
11/0 Seed Bead: TOHO – Metallic Nebula
15/0 Seed Bead: Miyuki – Aqua Lined
About the Braided QuadBow Bracelet Design
Most of us (me included) first learned about the new QuadBow and PieDuo bead shapes from Potomac Beads when they popped up as a fun surprise in the October 2020 Best Bead Box. Soon after, Allie contacted me directly to to let me know she would be sending some additional colors my way to play around with. I knew I wanted to come up with a design that included both of the new shapes together, and as I started moving the shapes around on my bead mat, I fell in love with how they can be put together to create this braided/herringbone effect. Through lots of trial and error, the Braided Quadbow Beaded Bracelet Pattern was eventually born.
