Hey beautiful! I have something new and exciting to share with you today today! Erika Sandor has recently re-launched her brand as the Beading School (formerly thestorytellingjeweller.com)! Her goal is to generate a sense of community and enthusiasm around beading, and the cultivate a fun learning environment.

Thanks to Erika and her small, hard-working team, I had the privilege of picking out items from the newly launched beadingschool.com in order to facilitate a review, and share more about the re-branding with all of you! I hope you enjoy seeing the products I picked out, up close, and hearing all about my online shopping experience.

Erika offers many different products in categories, such as: Preciosa Crystal, Miyuki, Shaped Glass Beads, and more! In order to pick a few things to share, from most of the available categories, I tried to stick to a color palette, which really evokes the Spring season. Narrowing down items based on a specific color palette not only helps me decide on what to purchase, but it also helps me when it comes time to design new pieces from these products; everything should coordinate well.

This is just a fraction of what you can find on BeadingSchool.com! Everything was represented very well, color and description-wise, on the website, so I felt like I received exactly what I expected. The crystals especially, though, were even more stunning in person. I think you will see what I mean if you watch the video footage.

BeadingSchool.com Shipping Experience

The contents of the order arrived in a small, bubble-wrapped box, which was inside of a larger box, which shipped inside of a bubble-mailer. I am impressed with how carefully everything was packaged. The crystals were especially well-packaged, and came housed in individually divided trays. Additionally, when I first opened the box, I noticed several free gifts! What a nice surprise! None of the items I received were incorrect, or missing.

Because I worked directly with Erika, and her team, shipping lightning fast due to expedited FedEx International service. In normal shopping situations, customers have the option of choosing expedited shipping for a higher fee (via Fedex International), or one can opt for slower shipping speed at a lower cost.

BeadingSchool.com Shopping Tip

There are many items stocked in the bead shop, but there are a number that may be out of stock at the time you are attempting to pick out products. Something I found very helpful, which I figured I would pass along, is that you can select the checkbox on the left-hand menu to view only items that are currently available. Here is a picture of what I am referring to:

Just check the box that says “In Stock,” and you won’t have to worry about picking something that may not be available.

The jewelry in this category may be sold, but I am usually able to recreate similar designs, upon request. Viewing out of stock jewelry pieces also provides a helpful archive of beading inspiration, and a way to see past jewelry creations that have travelled to new homes. Many pieces include materials from past bead subscription boxes that I have unboxed on my YouTube channel.
