DIY Fire Polish, Seed Bead Bracelet Tutorial | Barrier Reef

Hey beautiful! In today’s beaded jewelry tutorial, I will show you how to make a beaded bracelet pattern, which is inspired by the contents of the Paradise Aquatic Collection by Eureka Crystal Beads. Even if you don’t purchase the entire collection, you can find everything you need from their online shop, in all sorts of colors. Please see below for the full materials list. Enjoy!

Materials for 7" Bracelet

✔ 12 – 8mm Fire Polish Beads (blue pacific matte)

✔ 24 – 4mm Fire Polish Beads (saturated metallic nebulus blue)

✔ 44 – Miyuki Quarter Tila Beads (matte transparent aqua)

✔ 2g – 11/0 Seed Beads (lt. sapphire opaque blue lined TOHO)

✔ 2g – 8/0 Seed Beads (opaque lustered turquoise TOHO)

✔ 2 – Beading Needles, Size 10 

✔ 8ft – 6lb. FireLine, or other beading thread 

✔ 1 – 14x11mm Two-Hole Button Clasp 

✔ Scissors

Feel free to finish this bracelet with an alternate type of clasp, or use a fun button that you have in your “stash.” The button pictured came in a variety pack from Beebeecraft, and I made the three loops at the end of the bracelet in a size specific to my particular button. If your button is larger, or smaller, simply adjust the size of the beaded loops you create to accommodate your button’s width.

Here is an additional colorway, which is a combination of beads that I found in my collection. I love the two-tone 8mm fire polish beads, and have had this particular strand for over a year; they were begging to be used! Peach and purple are not two colors that I normally put together, but I embraced the combo, and think the results came out beautifully. It’s different! I used silver lined light peach 11/0 seed beads, and a variety of matte metallic purple iris 8/0 seed beads.
